I’ve had some great experiences chasing my photographic dreams thus far. From shooting comic cons to artsy studio work and lots between. It’s been a blast! One experience especially stands out as it was one of the most meaningful for me. I had the honor to participate in the Choose 180 Youth Program. Choose 180 gathers a small group of high school students who are seeking direction and, exposes them to several entrepreneurial paths in hopes to encourage lasting constructive development. Choose 180 is also a competition in that each participating student presents a business idea/plan to a panel, in hopes of winning a check to help fund their endeavors. It was my pleasure to participate as one of the entrepreneurs’ sharing their craft, and to discuss the topic business partnerships highlighting the difference between associates and associations, and as a panelist. It was such a pleasure to have the chance to share my thoughts on entrepreneurship and associations with such bright students. In the process I learned a few things myself, and am gratified to have had such great inspiration to do so. My hope is that each of their American dreams is made manifest. Only each of them can make that happen for themselves and, a good partnership will always make them stronger competitors. I sense bright futures for each of them should they truly follow their entrepreneurial dreams.
