Body Paint via Vincent Howard:
I’ve always enjoyed the subject of the human form. One way I’ve seen it celebrated is through manipulation of the form, using contortion and body paint. Artist Howard Schatz who’s work called Body Knots has been an influence on my visual sensibilities. I’d recommend his work highly! Using a combination of body contortion, and digital tools he’s created unique images of the human form that pop with color. Also, one of my favorite TV shows is called Skin Wars, a competition art show that celebrates the human form in paint. I' found it inspiring, and was moved to experiment with body painting myself. It has become of my many artistic directions in photography.
